Description

Hi
Some days ago, the use of double dollar signs was allowing the user to write some maths in the right way but for several days, those lines have stopped rendering well, now, whenever the user uses '$$', all the LaTex between the dollars signs (even the simple dollar signs) are misplaced on the page, merging with other ligns when compiling.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in MacDown using display math delimited by double dollar signs and inline dollar signs, then compare how the rendered lines are positioned. Done means LaTeX renders correctly without merging with neighboring lines; the payload does not name a source file or test to inspect.
