Render Whitespace

Obviously there used to be an option to show whitespace in the editor pane. This shold be possible to toggle under "preferences" "editor"
Has the feature been removed or will it be back with a future version?

Start in the macOS editor's Preferences > Editor settings and inspect how editor-pane display options are defined. Determine whether whitespace rendering still exists or needs a new preference, then verify that the setting can be toggled and changes the editor display as requested.
