Description

Hi,

I noticed MacDown's preview pane gets desynchronized from the editor either when

A) defining a lot of titles, but no text in between, e.g.

# some title
## a first subtitle
## a second subtitle
## ...

or
B) when using reference-style image syntax, e.g.

 ![varying_b][]

[...]

<!--- bottom of file below -->
[varying_b]:data:image/png;base64,{some lengthy Base64 data}

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Reproduce the desynchronization in MacDown with the consecutive-heading example and the reference-style image example, then trace the editor-to-preview synchronization and Markdown handling. Done means both examples keep the preview aligned with the editor.
