Description

Hi all,

I have found that certain rows in the MIMIC-IV table called diagnosis has rows where the only difference is in the column seq_num. The stay ID and ICD codes are identical. How do you interpret these rows?

Best,

John

Research direction

Start by examining the MIMIC-IV diagnosis table and compare rows sharing the same stay ID and ICD codes while differing only in seq_num. Done means establishing and documenting how these duplicate-looking rows should be interpreted; the issue does not name a file, test, or code entry point.
