Description

The bootstrap used by misp-cloud has drifted away from the one used in misp-packer and misp, increase the effort required for maintenance (keeping it up to date) and increasing the difficulty of troubleshooting when builds fail.

It is important to get the bootstrap script closer to misp-packer, even though not all features of the demo images are available in misp-cloud.

Research direction

Compare the misp-cloud bootstrap script with the corresponding bootstrap used by misp-packer and misp. Start by locating and reading those three scripts, then identify the differences that increase maintenance and troubleshooting effort; done means the misp-cloud bootstrap is closer to the other implementations while preserving the stated limits of demo-image features.
