“(...) is not big enough to distinguish between some of the very long GO term names that differ only at the end, e.g. “regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter involved in determination of left/right symmetry” and similar.”

Start by locating the autocomplete and sentence-rendering entry points in the causalBuilder interface, then reproduce the issue with the long GO term names quoted here. The work is done when the full terms are visible enough to distinguish names that differ only near the end in both places.
