Research direction
Reproduce the artifact in Voxy 0.2.16-beta on Minecraft 1.21.11 by placing crying obsidian in planes or grids and moving the camera through different angles. Trace the rendering path responsible for these blocks and compare the result against endstone-colored flickering; done means the artifact no longer appears at the reported viewing angles.
