At certain distances, LODs will render improperly/be missing at certain FOVs and distances.
Example photos (focus on the floating islands):
Top: FOV of 80
Bottom: FOV of 70 (Minecraft's default)

Research direction
Reproduce the issue using the two attached examples, comparing FOV 80 with Minecraft's default FOV of 70 at the affected distances. Trace the LOD rendering path and investigate how those FOV and distance values lead to missing geometry; done means the floating islands and other LODs render without holes across the reported settings.
