Description

When voxy loads LoD water , it sits over my player model, ghasts, and some items. I believe it is not that actual entity being overlapped , but the added shader layer to said entity. I am running Solas Shader if this helps. Possibly something to do with translucency/transparency? I could not say as I am not as versed in the technicalities of these issue but for my modpack it would be a desirable fix no doubt. Thank you, and I am thankful to have a distant horizons esque experience with little to no performance impact.

, Regards, Tony.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the overlap with LoD water enabled and Solas Shader, comparing player models, ghasts, and items. Trace the rendering path responsible for the added shader layer and determine whether the conflict is resolved without those entities appearing behind the water; the issue provides no file or test entry point.
