Research direction

The issue provides only a screenshot and asks whether emissives in LODs should be turned off; it names no files, tests, or entry points. First reproduce the overly bright emissives in a Minecraft scene with LODs enabled, then trace the LOD emissive rendering path. Done means an agreed behavior is implemented and the result no longer looks overly bright.
