Description
In Luxcore for Blender, Sun color and brightness are controlled by sun position, However, for user it is difficult to judge how high he/she has to position Sun-light in the viewport to have desired Sun effect.
My suggestion to have a Sun Elevation and Rotation field in Sun-light property panel. This will make Sun-light location & rotation in viewport immaterial, This will not help in accurately rendering a Cycles render file. but it will help positioning the sun intuitively.
Image is taken from Nishita Sky texture in Cycles.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Inspect the existing LuxCore Blender Sun-light property panel and how sun position and rotation are converted to rendering settings. Done means the panel exposes elevation and rotation controls and the resulting light can be positioned intuitively without relying on viewport placement.
