Description

The goal here is to distribute debian packages using launchpad PPA.

I have created 3 repos already, similar to what we do for Fedora Copr. See: https://launchpad.net/~lizardbyte

I'm not 100% sure the same naming will work, or if we need a different PPA for each version of Ubuntu.

I would like some help on this from an experienced PPA packager if possible. If interested, please reach out below or on our Discord server.

For reference our copr packages are published using this tool: https://github.com/LizardByte/copr-ci

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing Fedora Copr publishing approach in copr-ci, then read Launchpad's Packaging/PPA/Uploading documentation and inspect the three repositories under the LizardByte Launchpad account. Done means Debian packages are published through a suitable PPA arrangement for the supported Ubuntu versions.
