Description
I tried to connect an existing vivide-view with another vivide-view inside a presentation. Because the second view was hidden inside a shadow root, it was not found by the first view.
Possible Solution: add a /deep/ to the selector searching the correct output views. However, this feature is flagged as deprecated if I remember correctly.

Research direction
Start by locating the vivide-view code that searches for connected output views and inspect how selectors cross shadow roots. Verify the behavior with a presentation containing a view inside a shadow root; done means the first view can find and connect to the hidden view without relying on deprecated selector behavior.
