Description
Having worked with the system for quite a while now, I find it annoying that the ScriptEditor is always opened right to the view to edit, especially when working on smaller screens.
Dragging the tool out of the *script-it* halo to position it seems more appropriate.
(Clicking may preserve the old behavior)

Research direction
Start by locating the ScriptEditor and script-it halo interaction entry points. Compare the existing click behavior with the requested drag behavior, including positioning on smaller screens. Done means dragging the tool out of the halo positions it while clicking can retain the current edit behavior.
