Description

Currently, if you link against libc (or any other standard library), everything needs to be statically included in the same executable. It would be nice to dynamically link instead, so that this code isn't unnecessarily duplicated in every single autosplitter.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Start by locating how autosplitters link standard libraries and are built into executables, then document the desired dynamic-linking behavior and its impact on supported platforms; done means a reviewed design or implementation that avoids duplicating the linked library in each autosplitter.
