Description

Looks like the output of the PDF -> HTML process also misses out images.

I'm pretty sure there used to be a setting for the filters to extract images and link inline.

What format should images or diagrams take on?

  • Link / embed to / from open public services?
  • Raster vs SVG?
  • HTML5 markup?
  • Potential for enhancement?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the PDF-to-HTML conversion process and its filter settings, since no specific file or test is named. Determine how missing images and diagrams should be represented, including extraction, linking or embedding, raster versus SVG, and HTML5 markup; done means the intended image behavior and enhancement scope are defined.
