Description
I don't expect you to work on this but nonetheless I'm going to suggest it because of how useful it is. Similar to Lemmur, you would be able to click on the instance (!user@random.instance) which redirects you to a page showing some info on this particular instance, like its sidebar and a list of its communities.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating how federated users or instances are opened in the Android app, then identify the data needed for an instance page. Done means a user can open an instance and view its sidebar and communities.
