Description

With SAI, the "#ScoutingData` folder will now be sneakily hidden in a private folder. It is still accessible via usb though, we just have to find what it is.

Possible solutions:

  • Ask for access to a specific folder on start up
  • Live with this, but just figure out where it is saving the data now

Research direction

Start by reproducing the #ScoutingData storage behavior on Android 11 and inspect where the app currently saves and accesses that folder. Determine whether the data remains accessible over USB or requires startup folder access; done when scouting data can be reliably saved and retrieved on Android 11.
