### Bug Summary
it lingers for a bit after i pause. i don't hear anything abnormal on the right channel either. it messes with the limiter
### Expected Behaviour
right channel should monitor song as normal
### Steps To Reproduce
it seems to happen at random. i have narrowed it down to a hi hat sample (attached)
[pcp_hihat02.wav](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/31142510/pcp_hihat02.wav)
the project is at 154 bpm, and the sample is played 4 times per beat
it also seems to happen on projects that don't use this specific sample, but this is a surefire way to trigger this.
