Freezing When Attempting To Operate A Plug-In

Bug Summary

I've recently installed LMMS 1.2.2 on WhiskyWine to open a file I made some time ago (I recently moved computers). When I opened up the SF2 Player and clicked the folder icon, the program became completely unresponsive. I tried to close it by clicking the "close window button" and taskmgr.exe (WhiskyWine's Task Manager) but both didn't work. The only way that I could close the program was by force quitting. The same thing happened with the other stock plug-ins that rely on outside audio, like AudioFileProcessor and VeSTige.

Expected Behaviour

What was supposed to happen was that the plug-in would open an explorer.exe (WhiskyWine's File Explorer) window and I would choose the audio file of my choosing. Then the window would close and I would go back to the main LMMS window.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open LMMS (1.2.2 or 1.3.0-alpha.1.518+gdd53bec31, 32-Bit or 64-Bit).
2. Add a SF2 Player/AudioFileProcessor/VeSTige/PatMan/GIG Player Track.
3. Open the GUI of said track.
4. Click the folder icon to add a file.
5. Your LMMS is now not responding.

Start by reproducing the folder-icon action in SF2 Player, AudioFileProcessor, VeSTige, PatMan, and GIG Player under WhiskyWine on macOS Sequoia. Compare the file chooser behavior across the listed LMMS versions and plugin types; done means selecting an external audio file opens the chooser, returns to LMMS, and does not freeze the application.
