Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Load TripleOscillator, set osc1 volume to 0 dB and turn the others off.
- Put Spectrum Analyzer and Equalizer effects on the output
- Start adjusting the volume knob and compare the readings.
The dB values shown on the volume knob and on the Analyzer and on the Eq have nothing to do with each other, both plugins lie, differently even.
Bug proven to exists in 1.3.0-alpha.1.488+g4eba656bd but has been there for a long while now.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue with TripleOscillator, the Spectrum Analyzer, and Equalizer while adjusting the volume knob, then trace how each component calculates and displays dB values. Done means the volume knob, Analyzer, and Equalizer show consistent readings for the same signal levels.
