Description
### Bug Summary
I have been having a recurring problem with some VSTs (Notably: Edirol HyperCanvas and Edirol Orchestral). Whatever instrument is currently selected in the instrument part does not get saved to the project, but every other setting seemingly gets saved. This happens in both the daily and nightly versions.
#### Steps to reproduce
* Add VST to project.
* Change intrument(s).
* Save project.
* Close LMMS.
* Open project.
#### Expected behavior
The instrument part(s) should be set to the instrument(s) that was/were set previously.
#### Actual behavior
All instrument parts are set to their default instrument.

#### Affected LMMS versions
Daily (1.2.0) and Nightly (1.3.0-beta).

Research direction
Reproduce the issue with Edirol HyperCanvas or Edirol Orchestral: add the VST, change an instrument, save the project, close LMMS, and reopen it. Compare the selected instrument before saving with the reloaded project and trace the project save and reload path until the missing selection is located. Done means the selected instrument parts persist after reopening.
