Description

I don't know if this was brought up yet, but I want to suggest that the developers add a drag-and-drop function in the piano roll, so that you can view, edit, and switch between automation tracks in the same area that you can find note velocity and panning like In this picture. The left side still has the label, but if you drop something that can be automated there, then you can automate it on the right side.
Also another thing, can it be made that two points can be on the same vertical column in the automation editor? I'm saying this because if someone tries to pitch bend slide from one note to another, then one of the notes will be affected by the pitch bend trying to back down to the normal pitch.

Research direction
No files, tests, or code entry points are named. Start by locating the piano roll and automation editor components, then review how note velocity and panning are currently handled. Done should include a defined approach for switching automation tracks in the piano roll and supporting vertically aligned automation points.
