Description
Hi guys. The lmms piano roll has the option to '' mark the current scale '' which is very useful.

But when I improvise a melody, I have to select several times the type of scales: major, minor melodica, minor armonica, etc; mark a note: do, do #, re, etc. until I find the one that fits my melody. and this process has to be repeated several times each time I compose a melody, in my case as I am a beginner in musical theory, I find it difficult to find the scale manually with pencil and paper.
So I propose that you implement an option, button or shortcut to detect and mark the scale automatically according to the melody written on the piano roll. from this way the type of scale and tone are selected automatically. this would facilitate the composition and save time. also this would be a good news in version 1.2.0. regards

Research direction
Start with the piano roll's existing option to mark the current scale and understand how scale type and tonic are selected. Define how the proposed detection should handle a melody and ambiguous scales; done means the piano roll can automatically identify and mark a suitable scale from the written melody.
