Description

LMMS Version: 1.2.0-rc6
OS: Linux (Manjaro)

Hi I wanted to add the "TAP Pitch Shifter" effect to a sound. This worked, but now the sound is delayed in the whole song. If I disable the effect, the sound plays where it should again.
I also tryed some other plugins and some seem to add more delay and others add nearly no delay.

LMMS should handle effect delays and apply the effect a little sooner so that the sound fits into the song again.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in LMMS 1.2.0-rc6 on Linux with the TAP Pitch Shifter, then compare playback timing with the effect enabled and disabled. Investigate how effect latency is handled across the song and verify that affected sounds remain aligned while the effect is active.
