Using Detune does not work 100% intuitively

I noticed that making a detuning of a note, will not use the automation-editor as i expected

I select the position for detuning at the red dot in pianoroll, but the automation editor opens with the point in 0.0 position -yellow pointer. It would be logical if it was in the position of the red pointer.

Also observe how small the point in 0.0 position is. This happens because the points changes size accordingly to the chosen magnification. That is unnecessary, imo. The points on the curve, are difficult to 'grab' in that small size.

Start by reproducing the behavior in the piano roll and automation editor using the linked screenshot as a reference. Trace how the selected detune position is transferred to the automation editor and how point size responds to magnification; done means the selected position is preserved and the points remain usable at different zoom levels.
