Description
Type: Enhancement
Inv. Component: All dials ('knobs') context-menu
suggested feature: Add option 'Open automation-track'
Advantage: The feature should open a new automation-track, with the selected dials setting as base. At the same time, the new automation-track should be named with a concat of the component the dial belongs to, and the dial-feature. In the img-example that concat would be LEAD 55 HARD LEAD/ C¤EQ/ D/W. This would spare user for copy/paste opps, or the manual-typing, and it is very intuitive to open and assign a dial that way (just as the global-option iow)
The imo biggest benefit would be that this option would eliminate the very annoying situations where it is not easy to drag a dial out in SE or B&BE, because another component is blocking the space. The result is that as you move the 'blocker' the component with the dial disappear to the bottom of the pile, and then has to be dug up again
In the mockup i placed the option in the bottom, it should ofcause not be there..

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing context menu for all knobs and the current global automation-track option. Determine how a selected dial's component and feature names are obtained and how automation tracks are opened. Done means the menu option opens a new track with the dial's setting as its base and assigns the requested concatenated name.
