Description

### Checks

- [x] I have read the Wiki, searched the open issues, and still think this is a new bug.

### Explain the problem clearly and succinctly:

On a clean (new) Xiaomi Pad 7, I install keepassdx from fdroid store. When I get to the "device unlocking" setting screen and toggle "biometric unlocking", I get an error dialog "could not start this feature - could not find the corresponding hardware".

### Describe what you expected to happen:

Being able to use biometrics to open the database.

### KeePassDX version:

4.5.2

### Build:

Free

### Database version:

2

### File provider (`content://` URI)

local filesystem (syncthing to sync between hosts)

### Android version:

16 (xiaomi hyperos 3.0.303.0)

### Android device:

Xiaomi Pad 7

### Additional context:

Probably, the same bug as https://github.com/Kunzisoft/KeePassDX/issues/2452 (for 4.3.2) - which was closed.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue from the Device unlocking settings screen on a Xiaomi Pad 7 running HyperOS 3.0.303.0, then trace the biometric-unlocking entry point and the error shown when the hardware is not found. Done means biometric unlocking can be enabled and used to open the database on the reported device.
