Alternate list background color for Notes section

I would like to have an option to alternate list background color for Notes. It is hard to distinguish where one line ends and a new line starts when the screen size is small. For example, when lines start and end with numbers, it is hard to tell which numbers belong to which line. Below is what I am suggesting.

Start by locating the Android Notes section UI and compare its current list rendering with the attached screenshot. Determine where an alternating background option belongs and how it should behave on small screens. Done means adjacent note lines are visually distinguishable without disrupting existing note display.
