Description
I see that there was some git activity back in March, so it doesn't seem dead, but the linked Patreon says it is no longer funding this (and other) projects, and to look toward CourtBouillon and an OpenCollective website. Those don't list pygal either though. Also, it has been 4 years since the last release was made. The pygal.org website seems to be down, as is the site ( https://community.kozea.fr/ ) linked to by the Kozea organization page.
I would like to see some reassurance of the future of this library. I also would be interested in somehow funding getting two features I want in (#518 and #519) and getting a new release out.

Research direction
No files, tests, or implementation entry points are identified. Start by reviewing issues #518 and #519 and the project's current maintenance and release status; done would require an agreed future plan and a new release.
