File save of any kind crashes on OSX, fine within Windows VM

Hi, I'm trying to use bytecode viewer in OSX but it seems to freeze as soon as I try to save anything. Within windows this is not a problem and I can save my JAR file as I would expect. Not sure if I just dont have some environment variables set correctly or permissions issue or what but I can't seem to make it work on the mac. This is probably a very stupid mistake on my part.

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified. Reproduce saving a JAR or other file on macOS, then trace where the application freezes and compare the behavior with Windows; done means saving completes without freezing on macOS.
