13.2.0 slow and washed out on Mac

### Expected Behavior

Opens in it's usual color scheme and is lightening fast.

### Actual Behavior

Slowwww. top reports 30% - 110% CPU utilization. Nearly times out my terminal windows. Just typing this and watched my mouse jump around the screen when scrolling.
