Description
What happened?
I can confirm almost the same behavior with a SONOFF Hydro DUO SWV-ZF2E.
After a battery power cycle, Zigbee control works temporarily. After some time, the device remains visible and continues to expose battery/LQI and status data, but ON/OFF commands fail with:
genOnOff.on() failed
Timeout after 10000ms
Delivery failed
The physical buttons still work. BLE control through the eWeLink app also continues to work while Zigbee commands fail.
Firmware:
installed_version: 4105
latest_version: 4105
I also tested periodic state reads every two hours, but they did not prevent the failure.

Research direction
No source file, test, minimal reproduction, database entry, debug log, or expected result is provided. Start by reproducing the Hydro DUO failure with the listed Zigbee2MQTT and EZSP versions, then capture the database entry and debug log before and after commands begin timing out. Done means identifying the failure cause and confirming that Zigbee ON/OFF commands remain reliable after a battery power cycle.
