Congratulations and thank you for this great implementation. I handle a lot of FastAPI and I was able to discover a lot of stuff.
Open question: do you know if other metrics could be computed on the server from your API (making it more complex of course).
Here you ping the server, but for example do you think it's possible to calculate load rates by making several successive well-placed calls?

Start by reading the existing FastAPI server-ping API and the flow that sends status via Slack. Before implementation, define which additional metrics and call patterns are required; done would mean an agreed metric scope and a documented way to compute and report them.
