Description

When I build it from scratch from current sources and then launch it, I get the expected pop-up that says "Error importing segmentation model. If python dependencies are not installed, ...." However, after clicking OK to acknowledge the message, the app comes up looking like 3D Slicer rather than the custom skin. I am getting no warnings or errors on standard output nor from the Python Interactor. I see only the expected 'Switch to module: "Home"'.

This is for RelWithDebInfo, perhaps that makes a difference.

Research direction

Reproduce the application from the linked current-sources commit, specifically using the RelWithDebInfo configuration, and launch it after the segmentation-model import error appears. Check the custom skin state along with standard output and the Python Interactor; done means the application opens with its custom skin rather than the 3D Slicer appearance.
