Description

Hello!

Reading OpenXR-Loader's CMake script, it seems like only Linux has SO versioned libraries.
Many other unix platforms also support some form of versioning.
Dylib libraries on macOS also provides versioning.

Is this expected?

Research direction

Start by reading the OpenXR-Loader CMake script and identify how shared-library versioning is configured for Linux. Compare that behavior with the versioning mechanisms available for macOS dylib libraries and other Unix platforms, then establish whether broader versioning is expected and document the resulting scope.
