Description
In EGL, there are groups of functions for handling configurations, contexts, surfaces and so on. To fully implement just a single group requires a significantly greater effort in the safety environment than in the non-safety environment.
For reference, general issue "EGL" is defined as issue #35.

Research direction
Start by reading issue #35, which defines the general EGL work, then compare its scope with the function groups named here: configurations, contexts, and surfaces. The issue needs a decision about how many functions the safety environment should cover and how that scope differs from the non-safety environment.
