Description

I'm hoping this makes sense to suggest here.

There are some high quality musical instrument samples by the University of Iowa [(info here)](http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/MIS.html) that are under a really free license.

These could be downloaded and put up on the CDN (the samples "may be downloaded and used for any projects, without restrictions") and whitelisted as a media-src in the policies for the webpage environment. With the relatively new HTML+JS course and the future jQuery course, this could make for some interesting educational possibilities. I have seen some learners using the CS environment to make some supplemental content for the Khan Academy Music section, and I'm sure they would find some interesting and enriching uses for the samples as well.

While I didn't think this would be a good idea for the sound picker when sound was introduced for the ProcessingJS environment, for a variety of reasons, I think it might be worth consideration for the webpage environment... and perhaps make for another interesting carrot for pulling learners to that content from the Intro to JS environment.

If the idea is a go, I'll do whatever legwork might be needed that I am able to do. It should be really straightforward, though we may need to convert the samples to a web-friendly format.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how the webpage environment handles its media-src policy and how assets are added to the CDN. Check the University of Iowa sample license and whether web-friendly formats are needed. Done would mean the permitted samples are available to webpage projects and can be loaded under the updated policy.
