Description
Separate release after the tool upgrade ships and 1.1.0-era installs update cleanly. Level 18 raises the default macOS minimum to 11.0 while the shipped appcast advertises 10.14 — choose aggressive-if-possible or accept dropping 10.14–10.15 updaters. Walk the 18 -> 22.1 release notes.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the shipped appcast, the tool-upgrade release, and the 18 → 22.1 release notes. Check whether 1.1.0-era installs update cleanly and decide how the macOS 10.14–10.15 updater conflict should be handled. Done means a follow-up release at compatibility level 22 with the compatibility decision and release notes verified.
