about dataset

Recently, I upload a dataset using kaggle-api, I wait for a long time, and after the data is loaded, an error is reported, "dataset_metadata.json" contains illegal characters. To save time, we can check the configuration file format before loading the data. After ensuring the format is correct, then perform time-consuming operations. I'm not sure if this is reasonable. : )
