online documentation search hangs

**Describe the bug**
Not sure if this is an issue with how plotlyjs implements documenter.jl, an issue with documenter.jl, or a hosting issue, but searching the documentation causes the page to hang.

**Steps to reproduce**
type the following into a search bar () and hit enter (tested on chrome and firefox):
```
http://juliaplots.org/PlotlyJS.jl/stable/search/?q=eggs#
```

Reproduce the hang at the published PlotlyJS.jl stable documentation URL using the `eggs` query in Chrome and Firefox. Investigate whether the failure is in PlotlyJS.jl, Documenter.jl, or hosting; done means the cause is identified and documentation search no longer hangs.
