Description

julia> using ImageFiltering
julia> using ImageFiltering.KernelFactors: gaussian
julia> imfilter(Real[], gaussian(1))
ERROR: UndefRefError: access to undefined reference

Running this a few times crashes Julia.
Another failure case:

using StaticArrays
imfilter(SVector{2}[], gaussian(1))

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the imfilter calls with Real[] and SVector{2}[] using gaussian(1), then trace the empty-vector path for abstract element types. Done means both cases avoid UndefRefError and no longer crash Julia.
