Description
When calling into C functions with large arrays of points, it would be useful to have mutable StructArrays of points. As far as I understand it, this would just involve defining a static schema for Points.
Would this be a wanted feature? Also, how would we handle vectors of n-dimensional Points?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing Point types and how StructArrays are represented for C-function calls. Clarify whether mutable StructArrays of points should use a static schema, and decide how vectors of n-dimensional Points should be handled. Done means the project has an agreed interface and documented behavior for both cases.
