Description

Ideally, if a closed contour is found it should have a known direction (eg. anticlockwise). It seems that currently the direction is random?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating where closed contours are generated and their point order is determined, then use a reproducible closed contour to inspect the current direction. Done means closed contours consistently follow the chosen direction, such as anticlockwise, with coverage demonstrating that behavior.
