Description
As reported by @christiangnrd in https://github.com/JuliaGPU/Metal.jl/issues/840, not doing the `import REPL` regresses TTFX. I've done https://github.com/JuliaGPU/Metal.jl/pull/844 here, but we should investigate if and why it's still required on 1.14 post https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/pull/61714
