Description

Hi AcceleratedKernels team,

I was reading your 2025 preprint on arXiv ("AcceleratedKernels.jl: Cross-Architecture Parallel Algorithms from a Unified, Transpiled Codebase" - arXiv:2507.16710v1) and noticed a minor typo in the introduction that you might want to correct for future revisions.

In **Section I (Introduction)**, at the end of the first paragraph, the text currently reads:

> "Writing platform-specific code for each environment increases complexity and reduces **the each** platform’s adoption, in turn **minimising** their possible performance benefits..."

It looks like an extra word slipped in and it should probably just read "...reduces **each** platform's adoption...".

Just wanted to quickly bring this to your attention. Thanks for the great work on the library!

Best regards,

Diego

Research direction

Open the cited arXiv preprint and navigate to Section I (Introduction), specifically the end of its first paragraph. Verify the quoted wording and correct “the each” to “each” in the source used for a future revision; done means the introduction no longer contains the extra word.
