Description

Now that Julia 1.12 is the stable release, this should be possible. I am not familiar with creating binaries from Julia packages, would love some help on this. Not sure where those should live either, probably in SMC itself.

Research direction

Start by reviewing Julia 1.12's binary-compilation support and the related issues in asdex, pysparsematrixcolorings, and JAX-AMG. Determine whether the binaries should live in SparseMatrixColorings.jl and define the supported packages, platforms, and trimming behavior. Done means the binary approach and location are agreed and documented or implemented.
