Production DAOs (WIP)

Concept

A Production DAO would be a sub-DAO of Joystream that:

• Is used to coordinate the production of film project(s)
  • A group may only work on a single project and then disband afterwards.
  • Groups might work on multiple projects, either in series or parallel.
• Costs some amount of tokens to create (thereby making them limited compared to Runtime DAOs)
  • This could either be a payment or stake.
  • The requirement of a fee would generate revenue for the platform
  • The requirement of a fee would establish that Production DAOs are limited, valuable
• May cost some amount of tokens to maintain:
  • This could be a recurring payment required to maintain the Production DAO
• May have a time limitation (not essential)
  • For example: this Production DAO has 6 weeks for delivery, otherwise it automatically fails
• Would have a simple proposal system allowing for the Production DAO to have its own decisions making process.
• Would be able to hire multiple workers at different rates (with or without stake), examples:
  • hiring director/producer/editor/camera crew
  • hiring individuals
  • hiring participants that represent more than one individual (such as a real life company)
• Would have its own token
  • which may be traded openly
  • OR may also be restricted to use by invited participants (thereby preventing external ownership/influence on the production)
  • OR may be related to social tokens, so that people working on the Production DAO can get some amount of residual royalties from viewership of the finished project(s)
• Could maybe be able to be created via the bounty module
  • For example, a person with an idea, puts up a bounty, and if the funding requirements are fulfilled a Production DAO is created
• Could maybe be funded via the Council--thereby allowing the Council to allocate funds to film projects and develop "Original Content" similar to Netflix and other streaming services
  • If a particular Production DAO has a good track record of producing highly regarded creative works, the Council could choose to fund them for longer
