Description

It would be great if we could allow foreign chains to act inside the Joystream chain, for example an Aragon DAO on Moonbeam could control a set of channels through a member, or even run for the council and so on. Rather than having to build in our own DAO implementation on our chain (#2068 ), this interoperability would unlock a lot of potential and unburden us from making it all ourselves.

Research direction

Start by reading issue #2068 and the existing membership, channel-control, and council concepts described in this issue. Define the interoperability scope and the foreign-chain control model before identifying implementation and validation work; done would mean an agreed design for how an external DAO can create or control membership, channels, or council participation.
