#### Required information
- Mac model: 2016 MacBook Pro 15-inch with Touchbar
- macOS version: 10.14.1 Beta (18B67A)
- Monitor setup: Apple Cinema Display 27" with Apple Official USB-C to Thunderbolt Adapter
#### Description of issue / Feature request
External display does not dim despite being dimmable via keyboards and using all Apple products.
